Is exercise ever a waste of time?
A question I have been asked before is, is exercise a waste of time if I’m not following the nutrition program and eating correctly. First off, exercise is never a waste of time, that’s just silly. You always get benefits from exercising even if you are not eating healthy. You just aren’t going to optimize the results you are getting and won’t get the most out of your time spent exercising. I’ve always related getting in shape to going to school. If all you did was go to class each day but didn’t go home and study and do your homework you probably wouldn’t get a good grade in that class. You probably wouldn’t get an “A” or a “B” but you would still get the benefit of the education and learning in class each day. It’s the same with exercise.
