Exercising with limited time
The saying “I don’t have enough time” is often used a reason for being out of shape and not exercising consistently. But is it really a valid excuse? I heard Tony Robbins say once “Time is the only thing on the planet that is equal. Bill Gates doesn’t get any more hours in the day then anyone else.” I think it’s about how effectively you use your time and prioritizing things. People who are successful are effective in time management.
The truth is for most people’s goals you don’t need that much time in the gym. You don’t need hours in the gym each day to get in great shape (actually that would be over training, but that’s another topic altogether). From my experience with clients and myself over the years if you are being productive in the gym and have a good, set plan and program then training 3 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes is more then enough time to achieve the majority of people’s health and fitness goals. If you can’t make enough time for that then your are making excuses for yourself. Tony also said “If you tell yourself enough times that you don’t have enough time you will eventually believe it.
